I read that B. Nanho Blue was one of the smaller, more compact Buddleias. Not in my garden! I planted two in 2000. Even though I prune them very hard in the spring, they still produce masses of growth each year and flop over the paths.
Plant Type: shrub
The label says "one of the most delicately foliaged growth formations of all the Buddleias. Arching branches & dark green, autumn falling, Lance-shaped leaves form a perfect foil for the masses of deep blue racemes of flowers produced in mid summer which attract butterflies in profusion. Ideal as a specimen shrub or for a mid-ground planting in mixed borders"
Flowers in July-August
Height: 2m (6ft)
Spread: 2m (6ft)
Position: Best in full sun, will tolerate light shade
Care: Reduce all previous year's growth to within 8cm (3in) of origin in early to mid spring. In very windy conditions, may need a short stake.
